Innovative Student Activity or Program Team Award
Description:
Nominations will be accepted for a team of individuals from the same department or from a collection of multiple individuals from departments across the university whose efforts created or modified a program that has significantly improved student engagement & involvement, health & wellness, access & support, or the student residential experience within the Division of Student Success. The project-based work significantly improved the student experience and led to measurable progress toward specific goals of the Division.
Eligibility:
- All Division of Student Success individuals and departments are eligible.
Criteria:
The selection committee considers but is not limited to the following:
- Innovatively designed, modified, or delivered an activity or program that directly made a positive contribution to students’ engagement & involvement, health & wellness, access & support, or their residential experience.
- Created and delivered an innovative co-curricular program for students through partnerships with faculty, staff, and/or external constituents.
- Fostered a sense of belonging and mattering for students within an environment that is safe, responsive, and supportive of a diverse community.
- Increased student resiliency through a program that promotes self-advocacy and well-being.
- Generated a valuable solution or idea to assist with a problem or to streamline with a new method or approach that improves customer service or engagement for students.
Process:
Completed nomination packets must include:
- Examples and evidence should be cited to show the extent and effect of this innovative program.
- One letter of support is required from another individual.
